I believe my purpose here at Agnes Scott is to not only get an Economics degree, but also learn how to lead inclusively. Before coming to Agnes Scott, I didn’t have a broad view of leadership. So, I knew even less about inclusive leadership. After spending some time here, I’ve learned inclusive leadership is about supporting and giving a voice to groups of all kinds. I hope to gain a wealth of knowledge as it relates to leadership and academics. Hopefully, I can put these skills to use through volunteer work, internships, and other future endeavors.

Most recently, I learned I possess the following strengths: achiever, competition, futuristic, ideation, and relator. With this knowledge in mind, I hope to develop both my achiever strength and relator strength, through either leadership positions here at Agnes Scott or even at my job. Ultimately, I want to be a financial advisor and eventually start my own financial advising business. Alongside this, I want to help support youth in the Decatur community, so they can pursue their ambitions like I am. I have faith that my time here at Agnes Scott will mold me into a great leader.
